Lacks up & down stability.
The item is easy to install, unfortunately it lists forward at a down angle. The screw to tight it is on the inside and requires taking the entire bracket off the monitor. After tightening, it came loose again after moving it around.
The brace does not allow the entire unit to slide up or down as a whole.

Don't Let the Low Price Scare You Away!
I was skeptical due to the price -- its so low. But my husband wanted a mount that can go into two studs and due to the other reviewer I knew this one was designed for two studs. We decided to go cheap on the mount (with shipping this was under ) and cable (bought a HDMI cable) and to spend more on a good TV (Samsung). We are very satisfied with this wall mount. It arrived quickly in perfect condition and installation using two wall studs was easy (once we could find the studs!) The mount seems very secure and gives a nice amount of tilt without using any tools. Also, it does not protrude far from the wall. It looks the same to me as any other universal mount that would cost 0 or more at Circuit City.

Great mount at a good price
This mount was very easy to install and included clear instructions and all necessary hardware. The back plate is wide enough to attach to two studs. The tilt feature is very nice and works smoothly. All in all, great for the price.

Excellent Quality
I purchased this for the Sony 52" LCD Bravia XBR4 I purchased last week. It's an excellent stand for under 0. I built it so I had more height on the middle shelf (10") to hold my receiver and center speaker, and less room on the bottom shelf (7") to hold my DVD Recorder, Blue-ray player, and Satellite box. (Had to stand my XBOX 360 up on the floor, next to the unit because they run hot and I did not want to lay it down on top of the satellite box on the bottom shelf.) The width between the support columns for the middle and bottom shelves is 41.25". My 52" LCD TV hangs over each side of this unit by about 5" (but plenty of room for the TV's pedestal as this unit's top shelf is 47.25" wide X 17.75" deep. (Middle and bottom shelves are also 17.75" deep.) Shipped to me w/o a scratch. VERY easy to put together (less than an hour, even for those who are not mechanically inclined). I purchased the black unit, and the shelves are black, not smoked (i.e., you cannot see through them). I highly recommended this stand for price and quality.
